Trustees approve contracts, audit engagement

The Slaton Independent School District Board of Trustees approved contracts for personnel and administration Tuesday evening (May 13) during its regular Board meeting.

It also approved the engagement of Bolinger, Segars, Gilbert and Moss, LLP for the District’s 2024-25 audit.

Trustees also canvassed the May 3, 2025 election.

At-Large Trustee Kara Newcomb was re-elected and Emily Hargrave was elected to fill the At-Large seat vacated by Justin Martin.
