Annual Slaton Ag Boosters dinner, dance set for Aug. 16

The Slaton Ag Boosters will have its annual dinner and dance Aug. 16 at the Lumber Yard, 220 W. Crosby St. in Slaton. 

The event will be for ages 21 and older only.

Gates open at 6:30 p.m., dinner is at 7 p.m. and the band starts playing at 8 p.m. 

This year the dance will feature the Hub City Drifters.

The event will also feature a drawing for a John Hart Left Bank and matching Grand Makeup Bag.

Squares are currently being sold for this drawing, which will benefit the Slaton Stock Show. Cost is $10 per square.

To purchase a square or tickets to the dance, visit the Slaton Ag Boosters on its new Facebook page, Slaton Ag Boosters. The old Slaton FFA page is still active; however, it will take the person to a link to the new page.

There will be a link for the squares and a QR code for online ticket sales to the Dinner and Dance.
