Regina “Granny” Edwards 74 of Decatur, Texas passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Aug. 20, 2024. 

Regina was born in Lubbock to Mattie and TO Bunch on Oct. 25,1950. 

Granny met and married the love of her life on Jan. 20, 1968. 

Gerald and Regina went on to have two children Gerena Cantrell (Randy) of Decatur and Kelly Edwards (Jennifer) of Saginaw and a special nephew Tony Warren (Anita) of Springtown. 

Granny worked for Southland ISD for 30 years. 

Regina had five brothers and sister. Kay Brown of Prattville, Ala, Darrell Bunch of Alabama, David Bunch of Lubbock and Leslie Bunch of Granbury. 

She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, her parents and a wonderful brother Ronald Hennessee. 

Granny leaves behind three Grandchildren that meant the world to her Jerry Edwards (Caitlyn) of Decatur, Sami Perez (Anthony) of Fort worth and Cody Edwards (Natalie) of Cresson. 

Granny had three Great grandchildren Eli Perez, Brooklyn Edwards and Liam Perez that miss her dearly. 

Regina leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well.
