SHS’ Homecoming court, events this week, to play Morton

The 2025 Slaton High School Homecoming court and events have been set for this week’s game against Morton.

The Tigers will play the Indians Friday evening (Sept. 26) at 7 p.m. at home.

The Homecoming Court was announced Thursday evening (Sept. 18).

The queen candidates are Gracyn Funderburk, Maria Garcia, Madison Gatica, Kolbi McCord and Breanna Perez.

The king candidates are Jaden Alvear, Jeremy Floyd, Jacob Lopez, Daniel Payne and Fabian Perez.

The King was announced Wednesday evening (Sept. 24) during the annual Homecoming Parade, Carnival and Community-wide pep rally.

The Queen will be announced at halftime at the game.

This year’s theme is: “Game One Morton,” and features an arcade theme.
