SEDCO conducts Downtown session

The Slaton Economic Development Corporation conducted a Downtown Slaton Input Session Oct. 7 at Slaton City Hall. 

Many local businesses attended.

Executive Director Lezlee Harlan said she wanted to reach out and do another meeting again, wanting to make sure the conversations and excitement on how to improve the Square did not “die down.”

She added she talked with the people who hosted the last meeting, who mentioned they had collected and gathered data for a new strategic plan.

Harlan said some of the items they wanted to focus on ways to show how beautiful and wonderful the Square was and make it a place where pepole to come out and spend money.
