Slaton sees rise in October sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an rise in sales tax revenues for the month of October. 

Slaton received $82,035.30 in October, a 1.96 percent increase from October 2024’s $80,455.95

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $760,378.38 in October, a 3.32 percent decrease from October 2024’s $786,503.11.

Post and Buffalo Springs saw an increase over the same time last year.

Ransom Canyon and Wilson saw a decrease.
