Jack Matthew Harlan

Jack Harlan a familiar face to many in Slaton, Texas. He is embarking on an exciting journey to becoming an orthodontist. His parents are George and Lezlee Harlan, and raised in Slaton, Texas. Harlan carries with him a deep-rooted connection to the town and its values.”The town of Slaton has held a special place in my heart as a sanctuary, said Harlan.” When he is in Slaton he feels like all the people are more kind, and always willing to help eachother out.  His educational path led him through Texas A&M University where he gained knowledge in the orthondontics field and had an extremely positive experience. “While at TAMU   I grew as an individual and learned the values of integrity, leadership, selfless service, respect, excellence, and leadership, said Harlan.”After completing his time their he went to the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston, Texas. After four years of intense and rewarding training he graduated with DDS. Harlan is now set to pursure a MS in Orthodontics at Seton Hill University in Pittsburgh, PA. “I am excited to live close to the east coast where I can explore more of DC, NYC, and other big cities and taking advantage of all the hiking experiences, said Harlan.” Jack Harlan looks forward to returning to West Texas after his studies, with hopes of serving the community of Lubbock as an orthodontist.
