Tucker Oil Company: Serving Slaton Since 1932

Located in the heart of Slaton, Tucker Oil Company has been a trusted provider of fuel and a vital supporter of the community for over 90 years. Founded by Loyd Tucker in 1926, the company began by supplying fuel to local farmers under Continental Oil Co. Six years later, Tucker Oil expanded with the establishment of a bulk fuel and oil plant, solidifying its role in Slaton’s economic landscape. Passed down through generations, Tucker Oil remains family-owned and operated. 

Loyd’s son Harold joined the business, followed by Harold’s sons David and Steve, who continued the legacy of exceptional service. In 2019, Hayden and Emily Hargrave took over, ensuring continuity and community commitment.

   Tucker Oil’s dedication goes beyond business. Over the years, they have sponsored youth sports teams, supported Slaton ISD projects, and contributed to the Slaton Education Foundation. Their motto, “Fueling you since 1932,” reflects their enduring presence and commitment to the town.
