Slaton High School Class of 1984 Celebrates 40th Reunion

On Saturday, September 28th, the Slaton High School Class of 1984 gathered for a memorable 40th reunion at Heirlooms Flowers & Gifts in Slaton, Texas. The event, which ran from 5 to 11 PM, brought together 24 classmates and 14 spouses, resulting in a delightful total of 38 attendees.

Amidst laughter, nostalgia, and heartfelt conversations, classmates reminisced about their high school days and shared stories that highlighted the strong bonds formed during their formative years. One attendee beautifully encapsulated the spirit of the evening, stating, “The best of friends! The best of times! Class of 1984! Thanks for the best of memories! Hope to see you all again real soon!”

The reunion also featured a small group tour of Slaton High School, allowing attendees to revisit their old stomping grounds and reflect on how much has changed—and how much has stayed the same. The walk down memory lane was filled with laughter and a sense of camaraderie, as classmates shared anecdotes and rekindled old friendships.

As the evening came to a close, plans for future reunions were already being discussed, promising that the Class of 1984 will continue to stay connected and celebrate the milestones of their lives together.
