Slaton sees increase in sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in its sales tax rebate compared to the previous year’s month totals.

Slaton received $50,794.23 in March, a 25.37 percent increase

from March 2018’s total of $40,514.67. March numbers reflect January sales.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $160,328.37, an 8.4 percent increase from the 2018 year-to-date total of $147,894.63.
