Council swears in officer

Heather Pinkerton was sworn in by Mayor Pro-Tem Lynn Nowlin Monday evening during City Council’s regular meeting at City Hall.

Police Chief Trevor Barnes said Pinkerton comes from the Lubbock Police Department. She earned a Bachelors of English and a Masters of Forensic Science from Texas Tech University.

Her husband Lucas also attended the swearing in ceremony.
