Volunteers sought for smoke detector installation

Volunteers will be out in force Saturday (May 18) to install smoke alarms beginning at 8 a.m., weather permitting.

Benny Lopez said those interested in volunteering can meet at the fire department.

The alarms are part of a program sponsored by the American Red Cross and Lubbock Fire Department.
