Christmas Musical, Cantata Sunday

Slaton Methodist Church will present the musical “The First Noel,” by artist Russell Mauldin, Sunday (Dec. 11) at 6 p.m. at the Church.

A combination of voices from three churches sing at the event, which will be a reminder of the reason for the season.

Refreshments and a special guest will join directly afterward.

The event is free and open to the public.

Also, First Baptist Church, 255 S. 9th St. in Slaton, will present a Christmas cantata Sunday (Dec. 11) at the Church during its morning service at 10:30 a.m.

The public is invited to attend.

It is one of several Christmas services that will be conducted in December.
