Duo qualifies for FCCLA National competition

Slaton High School FCCLA students competed in Dallas at the State FCCLA conference this weekend.

Two teams took top honors, with one advancing to the National competition in Seattle, Wash.

Emiley Garcia and Makenna Polozola placed second in Entrepreneurship and earned a spot in the National Competition in Seattle, Wash.

Halle Ashley and Alexia Anderson placed third in Hospitality, Tourism, & Recreation. This places them as  alternates for the Nationals event,

There were several other Tiger competitors who competed.
