Ryan Stone, a seasoned dirt track racer from Slaton, Texas, clinched a thrilling victory at Route 66 Speedway, starting from outside position. Ryan began his racing career in Outlaw Karts at the age of six, gradually progressing to compete in 305 Sprint cars today.
He emphasized that he had to keep his focus and determination throughout the race, maintaining consistency and hitting marks crucial for his success. “When the checked flag dropped, it was a relief and exciting to be able to pull off a successful night. I was excited to finally be able to pull into victory lane and really cool to see all my fans waiting there to support me,” said Stone.
He attributes much of his success to the unwavering support of his family, friends, sponsors, and the Slaton community. He expresses deep gratitude to local businesses such as Texas 1809, AgriDrone Services, Tiger Motors, and Tucker Oil & Company for their continued support. A special thank you to Berkley Automotive from Grand Junction, Colorado, former Slatonite. Ryan continues to pursue his passion for racing, and remains a proud representative of Slaton.
He leaves the younger generation with “pursue your dreams with determination and perseverance,” said Stone.
