Slaton Alumna Mary Jo Parker

   Mary Jo Parker, a proud product of Slaton High School’s sports program, continues to shine brightly on the basketball court. Having made a significant impact during her junior high and high school years, Parker’s journey has now taken her to the international stage.

   Graduating from Slaton High School in 2021, Parker transitioned seamlessly to college basketball where her skills flourished even further. Now, representing the D3 USA basketball team in Brazil, Parker recently competed in São Paulo against Team Basquete Pinda, securing victories in both matchups.

    Parker’s success abroad not only highlights her talent and dedication but also underscores the support and encouragement she received from her community in Slaton. As she continues to excel on the global stage, Mary Jo Parker remains a source of pride and inspiration for aspiring athletes back home.
