Slaton ISD Band Enhances Skills in Recent Practice Session

    On August 1st, the Slaton ISD Band practiced in the Slaton ISD Band Hall. The practice was from 3-5p.m.. The different drum sections practiced their techniques and were engaged in there practice sessions. The band has more practices planned. They practiced August 5th,6th, and 7th, and will practice on August 8th from 7-9p.m. before the students get ready to start back school on August 13th. This intensive practice is part of the band’s preparation for an upcoming season that includes performances at Friday Night Football games, as well as various events and competitions.
