Slaton sees rise in August sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in sales tax revenues for the month of August.  Slaton received $83,363.15 in August, a 4.83 percent increase from August 2024’s $79.515.89.  Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $548,195.45 in August, a 4.21 percent decrease from August 2024’s $572,298.26.
