Slaton sees rise in February sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in sales tax revenues for the month of February to start off the 2024 year.  Slaton received $105,244.93 in February, a 24.43 percent increase from February 2023’s $84,578.50.  Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $166,795.93, an 18.34 percent increase from the 2023 year-to-date total of $140,935.85.
