Slaton and Roosevelt with Strong finishes at the Mae Simmons Meet

   At the Mae Simmons Cross Country Meet on Saturday, September 7th, both Roosevelt and Slaton showcased their competitive spirit with notable performances.

     Roosevelt’s varsity boys secured a strong second place in the 3A division, led by standout finishes from Billy Bond and Justice Jackson.

    Meanwhile, Slaton’s varsity teams demonstrated resilience, with the boys achieving a solid 10th place and the girls finishing 16th.     

    Both teams displayed impressive depth and endurance, setting a positive tone for their upcoming races.
