Slaton sees drop in September sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an decrease in sales tax revenues for the month of September.  Slaton received $65,160.79 in September, a 1.50 percent decrease from September 2024’s $66,155.63.  Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $613,356.24 in September, a 3.93  percent decrease from September 2024’s $638,453.89.
