Midnight Madness to take over SHS

Slaton High School will kick off Tigerette basketball season with a Midnight Madness event tonight from 12:01-1:30 a.m. in the main gym.

“The girls have been working hard and are excited to get to work in preparation for their first scrimmage on Oct. 28 at Whitharral,” a school spokesperson said. There will be competitions, door prizes, and an opportunity to watch the Tigerettes practice.

Door prizes include spirit items, t-shirts, car decals, local business coupons, basketball concession gift cards, and two season passes to all basketball games.

The Tigerettes’ first game will be played in Hermleigh on Nov. 11.
