Tigerettes dash to regional championship

The Slaton Tigerette varsity track squad took home the Region I 3A regional championship Saturday (April 28) in Abilene and will send several girls to state competition.

The 4×100 and 4×200 relay teams will head to Austin May 11-12. Team members are Kamryn Gibbs, Zanady Coronado, Quanasia McDaniel and Ta’kaja Robinson.

Track and field events will be held in the Mike A. Myers Track Complex at the University of Texas.
