Tigerette golf places first in Post, Tahoka Tournaments

The Slaton High Girls Golf Team came in first at the Post Golf Invitational, with Slaton girls taking home all three of the top prizes at the invitational.

Madison Mosako shot a 94 at the invitational to take home first place individually for the Tigerettes. Summer Flores came in second with a 99 and Deauna Garcia was right behind, shooting a 100 to come in third.

The girls kept the momentum going into this Monday’s invitational in Tahoka as well, and again won first prize as a team.

Deauna Garcia came in second individually at the invitational.

The Boys Golf Team also did well in Post, coming second overall as a team. They finished first in the Tahoka Invitational. Mike Solis had a strong performance and placed second overall individually.
