Smith signs letter to Wayland Baptist

Gerald Jeston Smith signed his letter of intent to attend Wayland Baptist University Monday morning at Slaton High School.

He was surrounded by family, friends, and peers as he signed his letter of intent to attend the university and play baseball.

Smith currently is in his senior year playing for the Tigers in baseball.

He has also played football, basketball and track in his high school career.
