Tigers end their playoff run in Area against Pilot Point, 51-0

The Slaton Tigers suffered a heartbreaking loss Friday (Nov. 22) when they lost to Pilot Point 51-0 in Vernon. The team finishes with a 6-6 record for the season.

In District, the team finished third with a 2-3 record, and beat Brownfield 41-12 to advance to Area. This marked the third year in a row the Tigers have advanced to the second round under Head Coach Jeff Caffey and his coaching staff.

Seniors playing their last game for the Tigers include Quevon McDaniel, Laz Galindo, Reece Bryant, Kevondrick Gober, Jacob Guerra, Ivan Ramirez, Isaiah Ranger, Gavin Garcia, Joaquin Torres and Mario Sanchez.
