Brownfield presents donation to help First Responders

Brownfield students presented Slaton Junior High NJHS with a donation check for $250 for the families of the First Responders affected by the accident on Saturday (Jan. 11) during the team’s Jan. 13 games.  Slaton students initiated a “Pass the helmet and boot” at the game and collected additional funds. The group would like to thank Brownfield students for their compassion for these families, and to their students for their acts of kindness, and complimented all of them for working together to help others.
