Pair of Slaton seniors to sign letters to play college sports

COVID-19 may have kept high school athletes all across the state from competing, but it hasn’t kept two Slaton High School seniors from signing to universities.

TK Robinson will be signing to run track, while Michael Solis will be signing to play golf.

How and where they will sign depends on decisions made later this week by Gov. Greg Abbott regarding any possible closures for the remainder of the school year.

Should this happen, the school plans to do something for the upcoming week to honor the students’ accomplishments.
