Girls win 1st, boys earn honors at Ralls powerlifting meet

The Slaton High School powerlifting teams earned individual and top honors during the Ralls Invitational this past weekend in Ralls.

The girls won first place overall as a team.

Individually, Paige Rodriguez placed first, Sierra Rodriguez placed first, Amaya Ramos placed first, Jaclyn Loera placed second and Savannah Rubio placed third.

In the boys division, Toby Crabb placed second, Quincy Graham placed second, Chris Radar placed second and Eddie Betancourt placed third.

The teams are competing in the Slaton Powerlifting meet today (Feb. 4) at home, then will participate in the Post powerlifting meet Thursday, Feb. 11 in Post.
