The City of Slaton Commissioners approved two Slaton Area Endowment incentives and three SEDCO board members to replace retiring ones Monday evening (Dec. 11) during its monthly meeting at City Hall.

They also tabled a motion on a contract with Judge TJ McAuley for Slaton Municipal Court Services.

City Manager Wade Willson said there was no contract for McAuley and it has been a handshake agreement for services.

He said they could do a contract, which would be approved next month, or continue the current agreement.

Board members elected it would be better to have a formal contract.
