Mobile Farmers Pantry headed for Slaton Saturday

Juicy Lucy’s Mobile Farmers Pantry will be parked in front of Multiplicity Art Gallery on the west side of the square Saturday (Dec. 2) beginning at 4 p.m.

Products available will include spaghetti squash, acorn squash, butternut squash, salad greens, garlic, farm-raised pork, duck and quail eggs, jams, hot sauce and maple syrup.

The truck makes various stops around the area and can be followed on Facebook at www.facebook.com/JuicyLucyVeggies.

The Slaton square should see plenty of foot traffic that evening, as the Slaton Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Christmas on the Square from 6-9 p.m.

Editor’s Note: A version of this story printed in the Nov. 30 edition of The Slatonite reported that the truck would start selling on the square at 9 a.m. That time was later changed, but the issue had already gone to press.
