A Slaton resident was arrested on charges of aggravated assault  causing bodily injury with a deadly weapon and is being investigated for possible arson. Slaton, area cities see big increases in sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in its sales tax rebate compared to the previous year’s month totals. Slaton received $44,982.69 in June, a 18.76 percent increase from June 2018.
